Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a portable light that is worn around the waist and thus less physically taxing and not likely to lead to fatigue even when used over an extended period of time, and that uses two lighting fixtures to illuminate the area around, rather than only to the front, of the user. The portable light is characterized in being worn around the waist of an individual and is constituted from: a flexible rod body comprising a synthetic resin surrounding a steel wire coated in polyvinyl chloride; a connection fixture provided at each of the two ends of the rod body; and lighting fixtures equipped with a power source, each held by the corresponding connection fixture.
