Abstract:
A portable quick BOD meter, comprising a box body, a data acquisition and control system (3), a digestion system (6), and a power supply system (11). The data acquisition and control system comprises a display screen (2), a data acquisition card (4), and a wiring terminal (5). The digestion system comprises a hollow cavity for storing a microbial fuel cell and a device for producing a constant temperature environment. The microbial fuel cell comprises a cell housing, an inner anode cavity (10), and an inner cathode cavity (9); the bottom surfaces of the inner cathode and anode cavities (9, 10) attached to each other, the middles are provided with proton films, and the upper ends are provided with filling openings (8, 7). The wiring terminal is connected to the inner cathode cavity, the inner anode cavity, and an external resistor to form a loop. The output voltage of the microbial fuel cell is acquired by the data acquisition card to the data acquisition and control system, to convert and store data and output same to a display screen. A BOD value is obtained by calculation, and the test result is displayed and stored.
