Abstract:
A radio terminal testing instrument comprises an antenna coupler (20), a connection member (16), and a measuring unit (15). The antenna coupler (20) has a placing member (35), a coupling antenna (25), a pair of through−connection portions, and an impedance transformer (31). On the placing member (35), a radio terminal (1) under test is placed nonrestrainedly. The coupling antenna (25) is so disposed as to be electromagnetically coupled to an antenna (19) of the radio terminal (1) and comprises a self−complementary antenna having a pair of antenna elements of a planar antenna structure of a predetermined shape provided on one side of a dielectric substrate (26) and a pair of feed points and having a predetermined impedance in an operating frequency range including at least a range from 800 MHz to 2.5 GHz.
