Abstract:
The present invention provides a portable repeater. The repeater comprises: a housing; two connectors connected to communication cables; a circuit board carrying the two connectors; and signal transmission portions for mutual connection of corresponding electrodes of the two connectors. The two connectors are carried at different surfaces of the circuit board in a manner in which the two connectors are in the insertion direction of the communication cables and are opposite to each other in directions. The housing is also provided with a protective pad. In the present invention, the two connectors are carried at different surfaces of the circuit board in a manner in which the two connectors are in the insertion direction of the communication cables and are opposite to each other in directions, so that crosstalk can be reduced and accordingly, the generation of time lag can be suppressed. Moreover, the whole structure is simple, costs are low, and the protective pad is added on the surface of the repeater body while the connection between a repeater and the outside is not changed, so as to effectively protect the repeater from being broken down by an electrostatic induced current and ensure the normal work of the repeater.
