Abstract:
The present invention relates to a portable scissor sharpener, which comprises: a portable grinder body having an empty space defined therein; an installation groove which is cut perpendicularly to the front of the body and is slantingly grooved; a first magnet embedded in the right-angle surface of the installation groove; an elastic member the free end of which is positioned along the incline surface of the installation groove and the fixed end of which is fixed to the bottom surface of the body; a guide fixed to the top surface of the elastic member; a second magnet embedded in the guide; and a bar-shaped grinding tool slidably assembled into the guide. According to the present invention, when a user brings scissors into contact with the grinder and then simply pushes and pulls scissors while the user is holding the scissors with his/her hand, the grinding tool included in the sharpener is automatically adjusted according to the angle of the scissors, thereby enabling the scissors to always be accurately ground. Accordingly, scissors can be sharpened accurately, and thus the cutting force thereof during use can be enhanced.
