Abstract:
Disclosed is a portable terminal apparatus which displays a screen in a manner in which a user can intuitively understand that two types of operation units are linked, and allows the two types of operation units (for example, a touch panel and physical keys) to be linked such that broad selection by one operation unit and fine adjustment by the other operation unit are facilitated. The touch panel (28) displays an image region (25) where an image is to be displayed and active section linked regions (26, 27) where operation keys are to be displayed. An input device is foldably connected to the touch panel (28) by a hinge (29), and comprises active sections (31, 32), where key operation is enabled, at positions corresponding to the active section linked regions (26, 27) displayed on the touch panel (28), and an inactive section (33), where key operation is disabled, at a position corresponding to the image region (25) displayed on the touch panel (28).
