Abstract:
A portable terminal charging device is configured so as to detect a decrease in the magnetic flux of an inside section of a charging coil (8) and an increase in the magnetic flux on the outside thereof, when a metal foreign body (50) is present between a portable terminal (15) and a portable terminal placement part, that is, a support plate (6). This situation is detected by means of a large-diameter detection coil (43), which is between the charging coil (8) and the portable terminal (15), and a small-diameter detection coil (44), which is arranged on the inside of the large-diameter detection coil (43) and has a smaller diameter than the large-diameter detection coil (43).
