Abstract:
Provided is a portable terminal device and parking position guiding program whereby it is possible to accurately provide assistance in the search for a parking position when a user is returning to a parking position. The portable terminal is configured such that position information which indicates the current position of a vehicle is acquired, and when it is determined that the accuracy of the position information satisfies a prescribed degree of accuracy, the position information is stored by a storage means whereas if it is determined that the accuracy of the position information does not satisfy the prescribed degree of accuracy, images of the surroundings are picked up and the user is notified.
