Abstract:

A portable terminal device 2 for notifying a television receiver 1 that a phone call or a mail has been received, wherein the portable terminal device 2 is provided with a communication unit 210 for receiving the phone call or mail and communicating with the television receiver, a notification execution unit 203c for notifying the television receiver of reception information about the phone call or mail received by the communication unit, and a posture detection execution unit 203e for detecting the posture of the portable terminal device. The portable terminal device 2 is configured in such a way that when a phone call or a mail is received by the communication unit, the notification execution unit alters the content of reception information in accordance with the detection result of the posture detection execution unit and notifies the television receiver of the altered content. Thus, it is possible to protect the privacy of the user of the portable terminal device 2.
