Abstract:
To provide a technique that can accurately measure a distance over a wide range regardless of the scene of apparatus use. A portable terminal comprises a distance-measuring device that can measure a first distance-measurement range and a second distance-measurement range that is different from the first distance-measurement range, and a processing unit that determines a distance to an object on the basis of the distance-measurement result of the distance-measuring device and outputs the distance as a measured distance value. The present disclosure relates to industry having sustainable development goals and the construction of a foundation for technological innovation.
