Abstract:
A portable terminal in which one end part of a first casing provided with an operating section is rotatably linked with one end part of a second casing provided with a display section through a hinge section in order to enhance convenience−of−use while ensuring a size reduction. The first casing and the second casing kept folded in a closed state with an operating surface provided with the operating section and a display surface provided with the display section oriented in the same direction are turned on the hinge section to provide a state where the display surface and the operating surface are unfolded at a specified angle. The hinge section is provided with means which can alter an inclination angle in a unfolded state and is supported to be able to incline with respect to the first casing or the second casing.
