Abstract:
In a position adjusting apparatus for a steering wheel according to the present invention, on an inner side surface of a support plate portion (19a), only tip edge surfaces of a pair of projection portions (31a, 31b) positioned on both sides in the front-rear direction and sandwiching a pressed portion rear surface (24a) that is positioned on a back side of a portion wherein an outer surface of the support plate portion (19a) is pressed by a driven-side cam (35), are initially pressed against an outer side surface of a displacement bracket (16a) when changing from an unclamped state to a clamped state. Further, in the clamped state, the tip edge surfaces of the pair of projection portions (31a, 31b) and a pressed portion rear surface (4a) are pressed against the outer side surface of the displacement bracket (16a).
