Abstract:
The present invention can provide a position adjustment mechanism comprising a case (2), a movable member (3), a lock member (4), and a long member (5), wherein: the movable member (3) has a first engagement part (34) and a second engagement part (35); the lock member (4) has a first engaged part (44) that engages with the first engagement part (34) in a first direction (D1), and a second engaged part (45) that engages with the second engagement part (35) in the first direction (D1); the lock member (4) is provided to the case (2) so as to be movable between a lock position for restricting the movement of the movable member (3) in the first direction (D1) with respect to the case (2) and a separate position for allowing a relative movement of the movable member (3) with respect to the case (2); and when the lock member (4) is at the separate position, the movable member (3) is restricted from deviating from the case (2) by the engagement of the first engagement part (34) and the first engaged part (44) in the first direction (D1). Therefore, said position adjustment mechanism is used for a long member such as a control cable and is capable of adjusting the position thereof by a simple operation.
