Title:
POSITION ALIGNMENT DEVICE, POWER RECEPTION DEVICE, AND POWER TRANSMISSION DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/111155
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of easily aligning the position between a vehicle and a charger capable of non-contact charging. A position alignment device (500) aligns the position between a vehicle (201) and a charger (101) capable of non-contact charging the rechargeable battery (202) mounted on the vehicle. The vehicle and charger are provided with: a first antenna unit (111) containing a first communication antenna (111a) secured at a predetermined positional relationship relative to a charger-side charging site (103) (or a vehicle-side charging site (203)); a second antenna unit (212) containing a second communication antenna (212a) secured at a predetermined positional relationship relative to the vehicle-side charging site (or the charger-side charging site); and a transmission means (104, 204) for transmitting, from the first or second communication antenna, an electromagnetic wave having a predetermined frequency. The position alignment device is provided with a position misalignment outputting means (500a) for outputting an index indicating the degree of the position misalignment on the basis of the reception signal strength of a plane electromagnetic wave formed when the electromagnetic wave is received as a plane wave.
