Title:
POSITION CONTROLLING IN VIRTUAL REALITY ENVIRONMENTS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/197873
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Here we provide robots which configure racks holding different components of cloud like switching virtual machine nodes, compute virtual machine nodes, storage virtual machine nodes, etc. Robots here will be a Bluetooth Low Energy Enabled machine capable of identifying different hardware components of the rack on which different software services are running. A Robot could be assigned one or more racks. Using Virtual Reality we will simulate the current configuration and state of the rack with the exact physical position of the Robot, and the user using Virtual Reality headsets will be able to control the movement of the Robot and each of these movements will be emulated by the actual physical robot assigned for the rack. The movement for the Robot generated by the computer-generated scenario using Virtual Reality by the user is sent as instruction feeds to the actual physical Robot.

Claims

Following is the claim for this invention: -

1. In this invention we provide robots which configure racks holding

different components of cloud like switching virtual machine nodes, compute virtual machine nodes, storage virtual machine nodes, etc.

Robots here will be a Bluetooth Low Energy Enabled machine capable of identifying different hardware components of the rack on which different software services are running. A Robot could be assigned one or more racks. Using Virtual Reality (Virtual Reality is a computer

generated scenario that simulates a realistic experience) we will simulate the current configuration and state of the rack with the exact physical position of the Robot, and the user using Virtual Reality headsets will be able to control the movement of the Robot and each of these movements will be emulated by the actual physical robot assigned for the rack. The movement for the Robot generated by the computer-generated scenario using Virtual Reality by the user is sent as instruction feeds to the actual physical Robot. This is useful in handling link failures where the Robots can help to change faulty network cables for the rack, etc. The above novel technique of configuring racks using robots is the claim for this invention.
