Abstract:
Provided is a technique for allowing a range, in which position information is made open to the public, to be established in a stepwise manner according to a user's intention, thereby achieving a promotion of utilization of position information services, while ensuring a functionality of protection of personal information. A mobile communication terminal comprises: a position data acquiring unit for acquiring position data; a process level input means for inputting process level data for the position data; and a transmitting means for transmitting the position data and the process level data. For the mobile communication terminal, a position data processing server for processing the position data is provided. The position data processing server comprises: a receiving means for receiving the position data and the process level data from the mobile communication terminal; a data processing means for generating processed data that is a point-symmetrical hexagon including coordinate data, which is the position data, and having a size that is in accordance with the process level data; and a processed data output means for outputting the processed data.
