Abstract:
A holding unit holds, as set information, a plurality of reference feature points of a subject to be observed. An image analyzing unit analyzes a photographed image of the subject to be observed, and extracts a plurality of photographed feature points from the subject to be observed. A position analyzing unit analyzes corresponding relationships among the reference feature points held in the holding unit, and the photographed feature points extracted by means of the image analyzing unit, and detects the position of the subject to be observed. At the time of analyzing the corresponding relationships, the position analyzing unit uses connection relationships among the reference feature points and the connection relationships among the photographed feature points.
