Abstract:
A sensor holding member which holds a position sensor and a mounting member which mounts the sensor holding member on a cylinder tube are formed as separate elements. The sensor holding member is disposed on the cylinder tube so as to be in contact with the outer surface thereof while a sensor mounting groove is oriented in the direction of the axis (L) of the cylinder tube. The mounting member is disposed so as to straddle the sensor holding member and is affixed by a mounting band by tightening a mounting screw. As a result, the sensor holding member is affixed by being pressed by the mounting member against the outer surface of the cylinder tube. Loosening the mounting screw enables the sensor holding member to be displaced in the direction of the axis of the cylinder tube relative to the mounting member.
