Abstract:
To provide an inexpensive position detection device magnet unit. A position detection device magnet unit (20) is provided with a support body (21) which can be arranged facing a magnetic sensor (33), and a first magnet (22) and a second magnet (23) supported by the support body and arranged along a first direction. The first magnet (22) and the second magnet (23) are constituted from bar magnets, the end surfaces thereof being magnetic pole surfaces. The orientation in which the N pole of the first magnet (22) is formed is orthogonal to the orientation in which the N pole of the second magnet (23) is formed, and the orientation in which the N pole of any one of the first magnet (22) and the second magnet (23) is formed is along the first direction.
