Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a position detection system capable of accurately measuring the position of a moving body through the use of height direction information. To provide a position detection system in which it is difficult for measurement error to accumulate even if measurement is repeated. [Solution] A position detection system has a moving body 10 provided with a first atmospheric pressure sensor 12, a fixed station 20 provided with a second atmospheric pressure sensor 22, and a distance measurement sensor for measuring the distance between the moving body 10 and the fixed station 20. The position of the moving body 10 is calculated on the basis of the distance, and height information calculated on the basis of the output of the first atmospheric pressure sensor 12 and the output of the second atmospheric pressure sensor 22.
