The present application provides a position determination method and device for a reference signal, a communication node and a storage medium. The position determination method for a reference signal comprises: acquiring indication information; and according to the indication information and a pre-defined mapping relationship, determining a first PTRS frequency domain position and a second PTRS frequency domain position, the pre-defined mapping relationship indicating a mapping relationship between the indication information and the first PTRS frequency domain position and the second PTRS frequency domain position respectively.
