Abstract:
Provided are a position determining device, a position determining method and program, and a position determining system which determine a position in an image without setting a landmark in advance. This invention acquires an image of a ground surface which includes a position reference mobile body having a visual identifier, the image being captured by a camera provided on an image-capturing aircraft flying in the sky, detects the identifier from the image, acquires position information of the position reference mobile body at the time of capturing the image, and determines a position of the ground surface in the image from the detected identifier and the position information.
