Abstract:

A position management apparatus (7) according to the present invention is provided with: motors (35, 45) which are connected to a power source (61) via a power source switch (63); position detection devices (71, 72, 62) which operate by being connected to the power source, and detect rotation positions of the motors or drive positions of driven members (31, 41) driven by the motors; position storage devices (62, 67) which operate by being connected to the power source, and store the rotation positions or the drive positions detected by the position detection devices; and a power source disconnection delay circuit (76) which allows the position detection devices and the position storage devices to be kept connected to the power source even when the power source switch in a conducting state is operated so as to be disconnected, and which disconnects the position detection devices and the position storage devices from the power source when the position storage devices store the rotation positions or the drive positions after inertial rotation of the motors stops. Accordingly, a low-cost position management apparatus can be provided which can precisely manage the drive positions of the driven members without being influenced by inertial rotation of the motors that continues after disconnection of the power source.
