Abstract:
A position measurement method and a position measurement device, for use in measuring the position of a target object (30) in a designated area (20). The method comprises: generating a map (40) of a designated area (20) according to a traveling trajectory of a traveling device (10) in the designated area (20), the map (40) comprising a plurality of trajectory points, and each trajectory point corresponding to a piece of pose data (S101, S201); when the traveling device (10) detects, at the current position, that a target object (30) exists in the designated area (20), determining first pose data corresponding to the trajectory point of the current position of the traveling device (10) (S102, S202); determining second pose data of the target object (30) with respect to the traveling device (10) (S103, S204); and determining the position of the target object (30) in the designated area (20) using the first pose data and the second pose data (S104, S205). The position measurement device comprises: a map generating module (301, 401), a first pose data determining module (302, 402), a second pose data determining module (303, 404), and a target object position determining module (304, 405). The method and device can reduce the workload of personnel and improve the accuracy of obtaining the position of the target object (30).
