Abstract:
The present invention relates to a position monitoring system and method, the system comprising: a terminal to be monitored which is activated when a subject to be monitored has been authenticated through the bio-information of the subject to be monitored, and which is attached to the subject to be monitored so that the position of the subject to be monitored can be monitored within a predefined boundary; a relay device provided within the boundary so as to communicate with the terminal to be monitored; and a control device for monitoring, through the relay device, the position of the terminal to be monitored so as to monitor whether the subject to be monitored exists within the boundary.
