Abstract:
Disclosed is a position sensor having a float, which, even when the float is moved after a power supply is turned off, does not require particular adjustment at the time of turning on the power supply next time, and which has a simple structure.
The position sensor is provided with the float, and a magnetic sensor, which is provided on the side of the moving direction of the float so as to detect a change of a magnetic field due to moving of the float. The change of the magnetic field due to the moving of the float is detected by means of the magnetic sensor using a movable magnet, which is provided close to the magnetic sensor.
