Abstract:
Disclosed is a position sensor provided with a detection coil formed by being printed on the surface of a substrate comprising a dielectric body, and a detection body which, arranged facing the detection coil, moves on a prescribed trajectory relative to the aforementioned detection coil in tandem with the movement of a target object. The aforementioned position sensor detects the displacement of the aforementioned target object on the basis of inductance in the aforementioned detection coil, said inductance changing in response to movement of the detection body. The aforementioned detection coil and/or the aforementioned detection body are formed in a shape such that the rate of change of inductance of the detection coil is constant relative to the displacement of the aforementioned detection body.
