Abstract:
Provided is a positioning control device for machinery in which residual vibrations occur due to low mechanical rigidity. The provided positioning control device suppresses residual vibrations to within an allowable positioning tolerance and reduces the time that positioning control takes. Before positioning, the positioning control device predicts the amplitude of residual vibrations in a machine on the basis of operating conditions and residual vibration information, and on the basis of the prediction result, automatically chooses whether to use a first servo controller (11) that performs positioning control without taking into account suppression of residual vibrations in the machine, or a second servo controller (12) that does take into account suppression of residual vibrations in the machine.
