Abstract:

The disclosed positioning device, which carries out positioning calculations on the basis of the distance between access points, comprises: an access point detection unit which detects access points; a storage unit which stores the detected access points for each of a plurality of channels; a channel setting unit which sets the channel for scanning on the basis of the stored access points; and a positioning calculation unit which carries out positioning on the basis of the distance between the detected access points. The access point detection unit detects access points on the basis of the channel set by the channel setting unit.
