Abstract:

An apparatus is supported transversely or substantially transversely of a web path on a rail of a web handling machine, and the apparatus supports a plurality of operating units spaced transversely or substantially transversely of the path of the web material and are adjustable along the path by separate, parallel or substantially parallel driven threaded lead screws by separate servomotors where each lead screw is attached to an operating unit by a threaded nut, and the web is tracked along an edge to maintain said operating units is the desired position in relationship to the web.
