Abstract:
Provided are a positioning device, a radiation therapy device, and a positioning method that enable highly precise patient positioning while reducing calculation time. An image acquisition unit 21 acquires a plurality of X-ray fluoroscopy images that capture a patient B along each of a plurality of imaging axes having orientations that differ from a plurality of movement axes along which a bed 7, on which the patient B is mounted, moves translationally. A simulated X-ray fluoroscopy image creation unit 22 creates a plurality of simulated X-ray fluoroscopy images produced by projecting a three-dimensional fluoroscopy image of the patient B onto a plurality of planes corresponding to the imaging axes. A degree-of-similarity calculation unit 24 calculates degrees of similarity between the X-ray fluoroscopy images and the simulated X-ray fluoroscopy images. An optimization calculation processing unit 25, on the basis of the degrees of similarity, calculates a movement amount of the bed 7 so that, for a plurality of translational directions aligned respectively with a plurality of optimization axes including the plurality of imaging axes, and also for a plurality of rotational directions centered on a plurality of rotational axes, the X-ray fluoroscopy images and the simulated X-ray fluoroscopy images match most closely.
