Abstract:
The present invention relates to a positioning device which positions pieces of a disposable wearable article upon a substrate (B), in which: a first unit (U1) comprises a first and third pad (P1, P3) which accelerate and decelerate; a second unit (U2) comprises a second and fourth pad (P2, P4) which accelerate and decelerate; the first unit (U1) further comprises separate servomotors (M) for the first pad (P1) and the third pad (P3) so as to cause the pads to be mutually driven rotationally about a common axis, but does not have three or more of the servomotors (M); and the second unit (U2) further comprises separate servomotors (M) for the second pad (P2) and the fourth pad (P4) so as to cause the pads to be mutually driven rotationally about a common axis, but does not have three or more of the servomotors (M).
