Abstract:
A positioning information prompting method, comprising: acquiring a first position, in a virtual scene, of a first virtual character controlled by an application client; in a sound source detection range matching the first position, detecting a sound signal generated in the virtual scene; and where the sound signal is detected in the sound source detection range, displaying positioning information of a sound source of the sound signal in the application client, wherein the positioning information comprises a position mark for marking, in the virtual scene, a second position of the sound source relative to the first virtual character. Further provided are a positioning information prompting apparatus, a storage medium, an electronic apparatus, and a computer program product comprising an instruction. The technical problem of relatively low acquisition accuracy existing when positioning information of an object making a sound is acquired merely by means of the sound simulated in a virtual scene is solved.
