Abstract:
A positioning method and apparatus, and a storage medium, which are applied to the technical field of communications. The method comprises: a first network element receives a first request, the first request being used for requesting to position on the basis of at least one ranging terminal; the first network element determines a ranging initiation terminal, the ranging initiation terminal being one of the at least one ranging terminal, and the ranging initiation terminal satisfying a first requirement; and the first network element instructs the ranging initiation terminal to initiate ranging.
