Abstract:

Disclosed is a positioning method. The method comprises: acquiring a target network identifier; according to the target network identifier, querying whether positioning information about a region to which the target network identifier belongs is locally saved; if the positioning information is not saved, locally downloading the positioning information about the region to which the target network identifier belongs from a server; and when a positioning request is received, acquiring geographical position information corresponding to the target network identifier from the locally saved positioning information about the region to which the target network identifier belongs. Also disclosed are a positioning apparatus and a terminal. By means of the present invention, locally acquiring geographical position information corresponding to the target network identifier from the terminal can be realized, thereby reducing the dependence of terminal positioning on a network, at the same time reducing the interaction between the terminal and a server, and effectively improving the positioning rate.
