Abstract:

Provided are a positioning method and a positioning apparatus, comprising: acquiring first moment information about a first node to be positioned, second moment information about a second node to be positioned, respective position information about at least three collaboration nodes with known positions and third moment information about at least three collaboration nodes with known positions; and according to the first moment information, the second moment information, the third moment information and the respective position information about the at least three collaboration nodes with known positions, determining position information about the first node to be positioned and position information about the second node to be positioned, to obtain the position information about the first node to be positioned and the position information about the second node to be positioned by way of one FTM handshake, then when there are N nodes to be positioned, when N is an even number, obtaining respective position information by way of N/2 FTM handshakes, and if N is an odd number, obtaining respective position information by way of (N/2) + 1 FTM handshakes, reducing the number of FTM handshakes, so as to reduce signalling overhead in a network.
