Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application relate to the field of communications, and disclosed are a positioning method and device; and in a 5G-NR system, a UE can be positioned only by measuring an uplink angle of arrival. The method comprises: a positioning management functional network element obtains a positioning measurement parameter set, the positioning measurement parameter set at least comprising at least two uplink angles of arrival obtained by measuring a reference signal sent by a terminal device; and the positioning management functional network element determines a position of the terminal device according to at least two uplink angles of arrival in the positioning measurement parameter set.
