The present application relates to the technical field of terminals. Disclosed are a positioning method and a positioning device, used for improving the flexibility and accuracy of positioning. The method is applied to a first positioning device having a WiFi function. The method comprises: receiving a first operation, wherein the first operation is used for starting positioning a device to be positioned; in response to the first operation, displaying a first interface, wherein the first interface comprises the positions of at least three positioning devices of a positioning device group on the same plane, and the at least three positioning devices comprise the first positioning device; when the WiFi hotspot of the device to be positioned is connected, receiving a positioning request transmitted by the device to be positioned; in response to the positioning request, displaying a second interface, wherein the second interface comprises two predicted positions of the device to be positioned; moving the first positioning device; according to the movement direction of the first positioning device and a movement distance relative to the device to be positioned, determining a target position of the device to be positioned from the two predicted positions; and displaying on a third user interface.
