Abstract:
The purpose of the present disclosure is to enhance the accuracy of calculating the location of a beacon terminal. This positioning method comprises a master scanner selection process and a correction process. In the master scanner selection process, a scanner (4), in which a reception signal strength of a first beacon signal (Sig1) satisfies a prescribed condition and which has a function of transmitting a second beacon signal (Sig2), is selected as a master scanner (4M). In the correction process, the location of a beacon terminal (5) obtained on the basis of reception signal strengths of the first beacon signal (Sig1) in a plurality of scanners (4) is corrected on the basis of a reception signal strength of the second beacon signal (Sig2) in each of a plurality of slave scanners (4S) and the distance between the master scanner (4M) and each of the plurality of slave scanners (4S).
