Abstract:
A positioning and orientating apparatus (100) for a branch well, the apparatus comprising: a directional connection shaft (1); a hydraulic cylinder (2), wherein a guide sleeve (3) is fixedly connected to the upper end of the hydraulic cylinder (2); a sealing unit, comprising an anchoring mechanism (4) and a sealing mechanism (5); and a sealing activating unit (6), comprising a sealing cylinder (62), a piston (63), and a force transmission cylinder (64), wherein an upper end of the force transmission cylinder (64) is fixedly connected to the piston (63), a sealing cavity (65) in communication with a central flow channel (11) is formed in the sealing cylinder (62), and the piston (63) can drive the force transmission cylinder (64) to move downwards when the pressure of a drilling fluid reaches a first pressure, so that the sealing unit implements sealing; a releasing unit (7) connected to the lower end of the directional connecting shaft (1), comprising a pressure-bearing cylinder (71), an elastic claw (72) and a ball seat (73), wherein an inner wall of the guide sleeve (3) is provided with a clamping slot (31) capable of being fitted and clamped with the elastic claw (72) in an initial state, the ball seat (73) can be matched to a ball (9) inputted from a wellhead to form a pressure, and when the pressure of the drilling fluid reaches a second pressure, the elastic claw (72) can be separated from the clamping slot (31) by means of lifting the releasing unit (7) so as to be released, and the first pressure is less than the second pressure.
