Abstract:

[Problem] To provide a positioning server, a method for controlling the positioning server, a positioning server program, a positioning system, and a communication device by which communication quality information related to a communication range of a base station can be obtained without causing an increase in the communication process. [Solution] A positioning server 500 is provided with: a storage unit 520 in which information is stored; a communication unit 510 which receives, from a communication device, a positioning start request that requests to start A-GNSS positioning and that includes communication quality information indicating the quality of communication between the communication device and the base station and identification information indicating the base station, and transmits, to the communication device, assist information to be used for the A-GNSS positioning; and a control unit 530 which, when the communication unit 510 receives, from the communication device, positioning result information including the result of the A-GNSS positioning using the assist information, causes the storage unit 520 to store the communication quality information and the identification information which are included in the positioning start request, and the positioning result information.
