Abstract:
Provided are a positioning system and a positioning method for a cableway shuttle (7). The system comprises a plurality of fixed points (1, 2) used to partition a cableway line into a plurality of line segments, and further comprises a control module, a cache module, a monitoring module and a metering module, wherein the monitoring module is used to monitor whether the shuttle (7) reaches the destination of each line segment; the metering module is used to meter the travel route of the shuttle (7) on each line segment from a starting point of the corresponding line segment; the cache module is used to store the travel route; the control module is used to reset the travel route stored in the cache module when the shuttle (7) reaches the destination of each line segment; and the control module is also used to determine the position of the shuttle (7) according to the length of the travel route and the positions of two fixed points corresponding to the travel route. By means of the positioning system for the cableway shuttle (7), the construction cost is low, facilitating popularization and application thereof, and the system also has a relatively high positioning accuracy, such that an operator can quickly locate the position of the shuttle (7).
