Abstract:
A positioning system and positioning method, the positioning system comprising at least one projection apparatus, at least one camera and a positioning engine. In a positioning process, the projection apparatus projects a first optical pattern inside a target region, the first optical pattern being for calibrating a second image. The positioning engine can determine, by means of a second image acquired by the camera, that an object to be positioned is at a position within the first optical pattern and, on the basis of the position of the object to be positioned within the first optical pattern, can perform positioning of the object to be positioned inside a target region. A large amount of manual labor is not required in the positioning process, reducing labor costs.
