Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a positive displacement flowmeter capable of simple degassing without increased pump pressure. [Solution] This positive displacement flowmeter 1 comprises: a piston rod 24 having pistons 22, 23 at both ends thereof; cylinders 25, 26 accommodating the pistons at both ends of the piston rod; cylinder chambers 21f, 21g that are bored into a body 21 and accommodate the cylinders; flow paths 21d, 21e that open near the cylinder chambers at positions outside of the cylinders, are in communication with the cylinder chambers, and are made to switch between being inflow paths and outflow paths by a switching valve 17; and piston covers 29, 30 opposing the cylinder chambers and flow paths. Protrusions 30b are formed on the inner surfaces of the piston covers or positions on the body opposing the inner surfaces of the piston covers.
