Abstract:
The present application relates to a positive electrode active material and an electrochemical device comprising same. The positive electrode active material comprises a compound with a P63mc structure. In the XRD pattern of the positive electrode active material, the (002) crystal plane of the compound with the P63mc structure is between 17.5° and 19°, and the full width at half the maximum thereof is between 0.05 and 0.1. The positive electrode active material has a considerable discharge capacity, and a relatively good structure reversibility and cycle stability at a high voltage of 4.8 V.
