Abstract:
This positive electrode active material for a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery of the present invention is the positive electrode active material for a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery that contains a lithium transition metal compound oxide, wherein the lithium transition metal compound oxide has an α-NaFeO2 structure, where the molar ratio Li/Me of Li and a transition metal (Me) is 1.05 ≤ Li/Me ≤ 1.4, and the porosity is 5 to 15%.
