Abstract:
The positive electrode active material for nonaqueous electrolyte power storage elements according to one aspect of the present invention comprises: a lithium transition metal compound having a polyanion structure and given by the general formula LiMPO4 (M is at least one element selected from Fe, Mn, Ni, and Co) or Li3V2(PO4)3, and a lithium transition metal composite oxide having an α-NaFeO2 crystalline structure and given by the general formula Li1+αMe1-αO2 (0 <α and Me is transition metal element comprising Ni and Mn or Ni, Mn, and Co). The molar ratio of Mn to transition metal (Me) in the lithium transition metal composite oxide is 0.4 ≤ Mn/Me ≤ 0.6.
