Abstract:
A method for preparing a positive electrode active material for a sodium secondary battery may be provided, the method comprising the steps of: preparing a transition metal oxide containing at least two of nickel (Ni), cobalt (Co), or manganese (Mn); preparing a sodium transition metal oxide (250) by mixing a sodium (Na) source with the transition metal oxide, followed by burning; and preparing a positive electrode active material by adding a coating material, which contains at least one of aluminum oxide (Al2O3), zinc oxide (ZnO2), manganese oxide (MnO2), zirconium oxide (ZrO2), or aluminum fluoride (AlF3), to the sodium transition metal oxide (250), followed by dry ball milling.
