Abstract:
The positive electrode active substance for non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery satisfies the following conditions (1) to (5):
(1) The positive electrode active substance contains Li, Mn and Ni, and has a spinel structure.
(2) The molar ratio (Ni/Mn) of Ni to Mn is in the range of 0.10 to 0.43.
(3) The molar ratio (Li/Mn) of Li to Mn is in the range of 0.70 to 1.80.
(4) In an X-ray diffraction pattern, the positive electrode active substance has a peak in the range of 2θ = 19.7 to 22.5°.
(5) In an initial dQ/dV curve (discharge) measured by a predetermined method when the positive electrode active substance serves as a half-cell, the positive electrode active substance has at least one peak at the following voltage V1, and at least two peaks in the V2 range.
V1 = 2.72 to 2.90 [V]
V2 = 4.50 to 4.80 [V]
