Abstract:
The present invention relates to a positive electrode for a lithium air battery, and a lithium air battery comprising the same and, more specifically, to a positive electrode for a lithium air battery, comprising a mesoporous metallic oxide as an oxidization-reduction catalyst of oxygen, and to a lithium air battery comprising the same. The positive electrode for a lithium air battery according to the present invention uses the mesoporous metallic oxide as an oxidization-reduction catalyst of oxygen, thereby being capable of realizing a high charge and discharge capacity without using a carbon-based material, and being capable of having improved energy efficiency and capacity.
